Hi, I'm Lauren—a real gay!

I'm a lot of things! A lifelong needlepointer and artist. An equestrian. A Southern girl at heart who loves a good monogram. A late-in-life lesbian, friend, sister, daughter, and wife.

But I'm also extremely disheartened about what's going on in our country right now. I am pro-choice, anti-ICE. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and believe basic human rights extend to everyone regardless of their sexual or gender orientation, race, or ethnicity.

I started Needlepoint For Gays as a way to cope with the crazy happening around us and reconnect with my love of art and stitching.

Current Charity: The Trevor Project

10% of all profits will be donated to the Trevor Project each month.

The Trevor Project provides life-saving support for LGBTQ+ young people through crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and mental health resources. They operate 24/7 hotlines, chat, and text services, advocate for inclusive policies, and fund research to better understand and support queer youth. Their work ensures that LGBTQ+ kids have someone to turn to and a reason to keep going when they need it most.

Why We Stitch

Needlepoint For Gays exists to turn creativity into connection and humor into resistance. We make modern needlepoint designs that celebrate queer joy, call out injustice, and help people laugh through dark times while donating a meaningful portion of our profits to organizations fighting for human rights.

All of our designs are offered as digital chart downloads, making them easy to use for both needlepoint and cross stitch. This format keeps our designs affordable and accessible, so more people can create high-quality work without the cost barrier of physical products. Whether you’re stitching at home or on the road, digital charts let you make it yours.
